Your Himalayan journey begins with a warm welcome at Delhi Airport by our driver or tour representative. From here, you’ll set off on a scenic road trip toward the tranquil Tirthan Valley, nestled in the pristine folds of the Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP) region. The drive takes approximately 12 to 14 hours, passing through Chandigarh, Bilaspur, and Aut. As you ascend, you’ll be greeted by gurgling streams, pine-scented air, and curving mountain roads.

By late evening, you’ll reach the peaceful village of Jibhi, known for its rustic wooden cottages, charming cafés, and unspoiled natural beauty. After check-in at your mountain lodge or riverside homestay, enjoy a delicious dinner prepared with local ingredients. Fall asleep to the soothing sounds of the flowing Tirthan River and the rustling trees under a canopy of stars.

Wake up to the gentle sound of birdsong and enjoy a hearty breakfast with views of misty hills. After check-out, begin your journey to Kalpa, one of Kinnaur’s most scenic towns. Today’s route will take you through Banjar, Ani, and into Rampur Bushahr, a historically significant town and former princely state on the banks of the Sutlej River.

As you drive alongside apple orchards and mighty river valleys, you'll notice the transition from pine forests to rocky cliffs typical of the Kinnaur region. Upon reaching Kalpa, check in to your hotel that offers a commanding view of the Kinner Kailash range, considered sacred in Hindu mythology. This snow-capped peak often appears crimson during sunset and is believed to be the winter abode of Lord Shiva.

After a long drive, spend the evening relaxing at the hotel or take a short walk through Kalpa’s traditional wooden houses and monastery. Dinner will be served at the hotel, followed by an overnight stay.

Today is a visual treat as you explore the best of Kinnaur Valley. After breakfast, set off on a spectacular drive to Chitkul, the last inhabited village near the Indo-Tibetan border, located in the Baspa Valley. Known for its clean air, alpine views, and the roaring Baspa River, Chitkul is a paradise for nature lovers. Stop by the quaint Hindustan ka Aakhri Dhaba to enjoy piping hot rajma chawal or momos.

En route, you’ll pass Sangla, another idyllic valley that is rich in culture and scenic beauty. The route winds through pine forests, charming wooden houses, and dramatic gorges. Once in Chitkul, take a walk along the riverside, visit the local temple, and immerse yourself in the calmness of this remote outpost.

Return to Kalpa by evening and enjoy panoramic views of the Kinner Kailash range glowing at twilight. End your day with dinner at your hotel and a peaceful overnight stay in Kalpa.

Get ready for one of the most dramatic drives of the entire tour. After breakfast, begin your journey toward Kaza, the administrative headquarters of Spiti Valley. The route will take you past Reckong Peo, Puh, Nako, and Tabo, showcasing breathtaking Himalayan vistas and ancient villages carved out of the mountains.

At Nako, take a brief halt to visit the serene Nako Lake and the centuries-old Nako Monastery. You will notice a stark change in landscape here—the lush greens of Kinnaur are replaced by the rugged, barren moonscapes of Spiti. This is also where Buddhism becomes more prominent in the culture, architecture, and language.

As you approach Kaza, the valleys open into vast expanses framed by snow peaks and flanked by rock-carved stupas and prayer flags fluttering in the wind. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel or guesthouse and rest. Due to the high altitude (over 12,000 ft), it is recommended to stay hydrated and avoid strenuous activity.

Dinner will be served at the hotel, followed by an overnight stay in the peaceful town of Kaza.

After breakfast, embark on a full-day sightseeing tour of Kaza and nearby attractions. Begin with a visit to the iconic Key Monastery, perched dramatically on a hill overlooking the Spiti River. This 11th-century monastery is one of the oldest and most significant in the valley, home to ancient murals, thangkas, and Buddhist scriptures.

Next, drive to Kibber Village, one of the highest inhabited villages in the world connected by a motorable road. Kibber is known for its stone houses and its location near the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary, where snow leopards, Himalayan wolves, and blue sheep are found.

Continue onward to Hikkim, where you can post a letter from the world’s highest post office. Visit Komic, one of the highest motorable villages in the world at an altitude of over 15,000 ft, and then head to Langza, where a giant Buddha statue gazes down at the valley. The fossil-rich land of Langza is a dream come true for geologists and fossil hunters.

Return to Kaza by evening and enjoy a traditional Tibetan or Himachali dinner at your accommodation. Overnight stay in Kaza.

Today is a long yet awe-inspiring drive. After an early breakfast, begin your journey back toward Manali, but not before making a memorable stop at the ethereal Chandratal Lake. The route takes you via Losar, Kunzum Pass (4,590 m), and then onto a rugged trail leading to Chandratal, aptly called the "Moon Lake" due to its crescent shape.

Chandratal is set against the dramatic backdrop of the Chandra Bhaga mountain range and reflects various hues of blue as the sunlight changes. Spend time walking around the lake and soaking in its surreal beauty. Photography lovers will find it difficult to leave this mesmerizing spot.

Continue the journey via Batal, then through Chhatru, and finally through the Atal Tunnel, one of the world’s highest road tunnels. This engineering marvel reduces the distance between Lahaul and Manali and opens up panoramic views as you emerge on the Manali side.

Reach Manali by evening and check in to your hotel. After a long day, unwind with a hot dinner and a restful sleep at your Manali accommodation.

After breakfast, gear up to explore the charm and culture of Manali. Start with the Hadimba Devi Temple, a historic pagoda-style temple located in a cedar forest. Then proceed to the Manu Temple, situated near the Beas River, believed to be the only temple dedicated to the sage Manu.

Visit the Vashisht Temple and enjoy a dip in the natural hot water springs, followed by a visit to the peaceful Tibetan Monastery and the vibrant Manali Mall Road for shopping and local treats. You may also choose to visit the Van Vihar park for a serene walk along the river.

In the evening, return to your hotel and enjoy a celebratory dinner as your Himalayan journey nears its end. Overnight stay in Manali.

Today marks the end of your adventurous Himachal exploration. After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your return journey to Delhi. En route, visit the historic Naggar Castle, an architectural gem and former residence of the Raja of Kullu. The castle offers stunning views of the valley and has now been converted into a heritage hotel and art museum.

Next, stop in Kullu for some shopping—especially the famous Kullu shawls, woollens, and handicrafts. Adventure seekers may also choose to enjoy river rafting in the Beas (seasonal and optional).

Continue your journey through the scenic Kullu Valley and reach Delhi by late night. You will be dropped off at Delhi Airport or Railway Station as per your departure schedule, bringing your unforgettable Himachal journey to a fulfilling close.
