Itinerary
Your adventure begins from Delhi as you depart early morning in a comfortable private AC vehicle. Enjoy the scenic drive through Haryana and Punjab before you start ascending the Himalayan foothills toward Shimla, often referred to as the “Queen of Hills.” This former summer capital of British India is known for its colonial charm and panoramic views.
As you drive past lush fields and pine-covered hillsides, the climate gradually cools and the vistas open up to rolling valleys and distant snowy peaks. Midway, take a break at Timber Trail in Parwanoo or Pinjore Gardens if time permits. Upon reaching Shimla in the evening, you’ll check into your hotel and rest after the long but scenic journey.
Later in the evening, take a short walk to Mall Road to stretch your legs and get a feel of this hill station’s vibrant evening life. With the crisp mountain air and glowing city lights, Shimla welcomes you with a refreshing aura.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Shimla.
After a hearty breakfast at your hotel, get ready to explore Shimla and nearby Kufri. First, you’ll drive to Kufri, located 16 kilometers from the city. This charming hill retreat is especially loved by snow-lovers in the winter and thrill-seekers year-round. Visit Kufri Fun World, one of the highest amusement parks in the world, and the Himalayan Nature Park, home to endangered animals like the snow leopard and musk deer.
If you’re feeling adventurous, take a pony ride up to Mahasu Peak, the highest point in Kufri, offering splendid views of the Badrinath and Kedarnath ranges.
Returning to Shimla in the afternoon, the city tour begins with a visit to Jakhoo Temple, perched on the highest hilltop in Shimla, dedicated to Lord Hanuman. From here, descend by road or via the Jakhoo Ropeway, which gives aerial views of the pine forests and rooftops.
Continue with the Viceregal Lodge, a magnificent structure that was once the residence of the British Viceroy. The surrounding gardens and the interior architecture give glimpses into India’s colonial past.
Spend your evening enjoying a leisurely stroll on The Mall, Shimla’s main shopping and socializing street. Don't miss the Ridge, an open space with panoramic views, and the Christ Church, a striking example of neo-Gothic architecture.

Today’s journey takes you deeper into Himachal Pradesh as you head toward Manali, the heart of the Kullu Valley. After an early breakfast and checkout, you’ll embark on a drive that is nothing short of cinematic. The route is blessed with pine forests, apple orchards, riverside villages, and winding mountain roads.
En route, stop at Pandoh Dam, a critical part of the Beas River hydroelectric project. Later, make a halt at Hanogi Mata Temple, beautifully located on a green cliffside offering both spiritual solace and spectacular scenery.
A stop in Kullu is highly recommended. This town is famous for woolen shawls and river rafting. Visit a local shawl-weaving factory to see traditional techniques in action, or opt for white water rafting on the Beas River if adventure calls.
By evening, arrive in Manali and check into your hotel. The peaceful atmosphere, the chill in the air, and the distant roar of the river make for a perfect setting to unwind.
Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel in Manali.
Start your day with breakfast before heading to Solang Valley, located just 13 km from Manali. Known as the “Adventure Capital” of the region, Solang is bustling with activities like paragliding, skiing (seasonal), snow tubing, ATV rides, zorbing, and even gondola rides.
In winters, the valley is blanketed in snow, turning it into a playground for skiing and snowboarding. In the summer, lush green slopes become the perfect ground for zip-lining and mountain biking.
If weather and road conditions allow, you may visit the Atal Tunnel, the world’s longest highway tunnel above 10,000 ft, which connects Manali to the tribal region of Lahaul in under 30 minutes. The drive through the tunnel and into the Lahaul valley offers stark changes in scenery and a unique high-altitude experience.
Return to Manali by late afternoon. You may choose to relax in your hotel or take a stroll along the Beas River promenade.

Proceed to the Vashisht Village, renowned for its natural hot water springs and temples dedicated to Sage Vashisht and Lord Rama. You can even take a dip in the public baths, believed to have healing properties.
Later, explore the Tibetan Monastery near Mall Road, a serene place to meditate and observe Tibetan art and architecture.
